Marquesas and Tahitian Tattoos

Looking south beyond the island of Niihau. I often wonder about the first believed migrations from Tahiti and the Marquesas to the Hawaiian islands. It is the designs of the Marquesas archipelago that have always attracted me to bold and intricate symbolism found there.
